Love is almost complicated…, well almost always. Most of the time, it leaves you confused and wondering if it was worth the effort in the first place; that is why they dub it ‘bitter sweet’. Even though the heart of the matter is mostly complex, there are always exceptions to the rule. There is a certain kind of love that finds its way amidst complications, trouble and doubt, which still manages to survive and last forever.

“Feker Be Agatami” is an Amharic film that premiered on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the National Theater. It is a kind of story that perfectly explains the kind of love referred to above. The film is about the relationship between a young man and a woman who are madly in love with each other but face considerable hardship when a third person who is also in love with the young woman comes between them.

Blen Media Production produced the film written and directed by Blen Mandefro. The film is categorized as romantic comedy. though you may not find anything funny in the scenes. The main characters include Ruta Mengesteab, Yonas Assefa and Daniel Gebeyehu.

“Feker Be Agatami” took a little over a year to make and cost over 550,000 birr.
